The HAAS, designed by Michael Frankhauser of Ohio, gives the climber the ability to use two ascenders which provides quick and efficient ascents in a doubled rope system, and even faster ascents when utilized in a SRT system (Using the HAAS does require a foot ascender to be worn on the opposite boo)t. Very quick and easy to install, and once in the tree, can be clipped on to your saddle or stowed in a bag. Incorporating the HAAS into your climbing system allows the climber to walk/stair step up the line very rapidly with minimum gear. Great addition to any climbing system.
