16 Strand

If you are looking for a tough, well rounded rope, the 16 strand arborist rope is a great choice. These ropes are still a favorite among both veteran and new climbers.

The construction of this rope puts the load bearing strands on the outside jacket and uses parallel strands in the core to keep its round shape. The larger strands of the 16 strand climbing ropes also stand up to friction and heat very well and the larger diameters provide plenty of grip.
