Recall for ART Blackbird Retrofit Call

ART is recommending that all Blackbird owners to replace the upper bearing pin of the friction enhancer along with the corresponding screw.

Also, they are offering the option to get the side plate replaced with a steel version due to reports of the friction enhancer nose breaking off in specific situations.

If the upper bearing pin or friction enhancer nose fail, there is not an immediate fall risk, as per the manufacturer. However, replacements parts are available. See this notice for details.
